Charles Henry Humphriss American, 1867-1934

While Charles Henry Humphriss may have made his home in the East, the inspiration for his sculptures clearly found their origins in the American West, sparked by many journeys from New York to the western frontier. In style, Humphriss clearly resembled another American Western artist, Charles Russell.
