Description
Balloon Man is done in the tradition of a “blue period” Picasso, which had an influence on Vidito’s work in the 1950’s. She did a number of works which all had this palette and tonality. She was a gifted artist and draftsman but never had her work promoted. She had a lovely use of line and color and very often, other artist’s note how fine her work is. She worked early on in the New Haven area and lived for many years in the Boston, Massachussetts area.
