Jeff Robb has an open experimental approach in making art, utilizing all technology available to him. Best known for his lenticular photographic work focusing on the female nude and abstract forms the artist has recently begun to produce bronze sculptures using cutting edge modelling technology combined with historic casting techniques.

Born in 1965 in Derbyshire in United Kingdom, photograph Jeff Robb studied at Royal College of Art where he graduated in 1992 with a master’s degree in fine art Holography. Shortly after graduating, Robb he was invited to submit a landscape work into the V&A museum, the first ever hologram artwork purchased by the museum.

Robb’s photograph combined his passion for nature with the experimentation in 3D technology. Chosen flowers are meticulously captured through the lens of 3D photography, forming the basis for Robb’s digital sculpting process. Through the ingenious technique of folding the paper while the ink is still moist, Jeff Robb achieves a remarkable bilateral symmetry in his artwork, prompting viewers to discern intriguing shapes within the stains.
